Lovely lodge for a bush get away. Good facilities for adults and great for children. Chalets are clean and serviced daily. Close to the Kruger Park. Great place.

Probably the best restaurant in the area. Nice view on the river from the tables outside the restaurant. Reasonable prices. Pizza's from Wood Fired Pizza oven is nice.

This is a very beautiful lodge with breathtaking views. We felt so relaxed. This is one of the few places that made me feel like I am actually on holiday.

The chalets are really top notch. They're very clean too.

For a place in the middle of the bush, there was hardly any insects.

The views from the restaurant deck as well as the hides are amazing. We managed to see quite a number of animals.

This place is well worth it!

Yet another restful and truly pleasant stay at Ngwenya Lodge. Very neat clean tidy accommodation, well serviced and maintained. The grounds are well managed and everything is is as you expect it to be. The staff are always friendly and helpfull. Only 9km from Crocodile Bridge entry to Kruger National Park.

An easy 5 star rating. Beautiful and stunning location on the bank of the Crocodile River. Facilities and rooms are top notch. Well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. Variety of activities offered on site for both kids and adults. A stones throw from the Crocodile Bridge Gate entering the Kruger National Park. Rooms are clean and extremely well maintained. Great experience under African skies.

This is my favourite place to relax and enjoy nature. Visiting Ngwenya for the last 12 years. It just get better.
There is one thing that I have to mention. !!!!!!!
The restaurant (old one) used to be a wonderful place to visit.
The new restaurant is worth NOT a SINGLE STAR. The food is bad, the atmosphere is cold and not friendly. I am sure the staff is from the nearest "death Valley" . I visited the restaurant on the 26th October with 3 other people. We ordered 1 pizza, one hamburger and one schnitzel plus 3 non alcoholic drinks.
1 hour and 20 minutes later, we received the food, which by the way was not tasty at all. During this time 14 people were in the restaurant. It took the waitress another 23 minutes to bring the bill.
Please, you have to do something about this. It is terrible and not good at all for this otherwise wonderful resort.

Next to the Best Place on Earth. The best self-catering facilities in the region at very reasonable price. Game viewing hides and restaurant view over the Kruger National Park just across the Crocodile river. Many species of game including Lions can frequently be sighted and photographed from a comfortable chair in the resort. All types of birds also visit daily.

Helpful and supportive staff and management, although not wheelchair friendly, every effort was made to accommodate our needs as good as was possible. Will certainly visit again. Excellent view over the Crocodile river into the Kruger National Park,accessible and reasonably restaurant as well. Close to Kruger Park entrance and ideal for day trips.

The lodge offers numerous pools ensuring a perfect place in the sun on your own pool chair. The restaurant serves fantastic cocktails as well as delicious food! Take your cocktail and sip it on one of the benches overlooking the Crocodile River 🌸

Decent resort with a few pools. Best to get river facing accommodation as there are great views from chalet's porch into the Kruger park and you are likely to see some animals without leaving your chalet. Has most amenities you would find in a resort.
