I only visit the bar and the drinks are cheap and it's always a relaxed vibe.

The place was great and the staff was very friendly I would recommend it to people because the decor was also very modern. A great price for a great place 👍

This little hotel has been given a facelift and is looking really splendid. They have secure parking at the rear of the hotel. A hair salon and a coffeehouse that makes some of the best coffee I have tasted.

This is probably the worst place I have stayed in over the 35 years I have travelled. Unable to book online. Phoned for a booking as I always like to try new places seems like tried to make booking with cleaning staff.
Arrived to check in at 6pm room not ready. Told all would be sorted at my return after dinner. Not to my surprise still not ready at 8pm. Had to follow with my bags from room to room to find a suitable clean room.
Breakfast not bad. On my return at 6pm my room had not been cleaned. Was told they could not clean as this (Hotel) 😂 can only afford one key per room and I took it with me.
Was told they will clean it in the morning. Should hope so as I was checking out. I said this is not acceptable and said it will be clean when I get back from dinner. Again not to my surprise middle finger to the paying guest it was not cleaned.
Needless to say they will never see me again. I will make sure our whole group do not come near this place. They try to call this a hotel. I will spread this all over social media just to help fellow travelers. You have been warned.response / report this review -

Finishings in the room are nice. Food is average. However when I opened the bed there where holes in the sheets. Service is good from some staff but non existent from others. So my 2nd day here came back to find room not cleaned. My colleague was here the precious night andbhad no towels. This place has potential with its finishings etc. But needs a lot of work service wise to be something.

Freshly renovated this place looks nice amd it's moderately clean. It is just up the road from a shopping centre which is convenient. The loud bar downstairs is less so depending on your room.

Friendly, Warm, Efficient, Helpful, Great ambiance, Value for money, Awesome staff, Great Service and all round fantastic stay. Facilities for our meeting and Conferences was great and met with food catering for all our needs. Thank you New National Hotel. Very pleased and happy!

Not a very nice place to be at when you are in Cape Town either for work or pleasure. Their rooms have no aircons, some rooms have open uneclosed toilets and it is next to the main road. Cars passing by makes such a big noise which makes it almost impossible to sleep. At night the street is riddled with prostitutes. This place simply bad news.

Me and my partner had a great weekend at the hotel staff was so friendly and always willing to help.
I'm suprized person who assisted with my luggage to my room.
Many thanks to receptionist young lady for check-in process.
Breakfast was so great, best part is unlimited free wifi
I do recommend this to everyone! ! very affordable.
