Happy to have a float while visiting South Africa but all in all it wasn't a great experience.

The massage should have been 60 mins but lasted 45mins (I was a few minutes late but wasn't told the time would be cut),.

Even with earplugs in, there was banging and a lot of noise whilst inside the floatation tank.

The express mani pedi was supposed to last an hour but took half that time and was really disappointing.

I was also almost overcharged almost 400R if I hadn't pulled up the website.

The staff and owners were friendly but didn't really deliver.

*update* - the owners/managers reached out to me and my second experience in the float tank was wonderful. Thank you for addressing my concerns and creating a better experience for me.

I booked with my wife for a massage and floatation tank session. On arrival there is no welcome, just staff standing around talking looking like you've interrupted them.
The floatation tank was did not agree with either my wife out I add it out strain on our necks and the fan in the room was noisy.
The massage technique used on is was also worrying. Both of us had our arms bent backwards while lying on our front in order to massage or hand. I have never experienced this before and don't wish to again.
Lastly for a place called Ubuntu it does not encapsulate values of human dignity. While being massaged a member of staff could be heard disciplining another. This should be done in private for the person's dignity.
My wife said she was cold and was told she must be getting sick. What kind of response is that? You should never argue with a client about how they feel. If they say they are cold offer to cover them! I have not mentioned all the issues but needless to say we will not be going back.
