I have been few times in the hospital and I have very good experience with all: staff, doctors and nurses. I delivered my daughter 2 years ago, and everything was very good. Clean hospital, friendly and helpful staff. Recently I was admitted in ER, I was in pain. It took them only 10 minutes to take me in and to give me some painkillers. Also, I was with my daughter on ER when she was 1y old baby, and all of them were very patient, friendly and it was all very quick.

Good, clean and very well positioned hospital, friendly, professional and helpful doctors and nurses! :)

No, no, no! I have been here many times mainly because it is the closest hospital and an emergency is an emergency. But it is true they do not have a sense of urgency, the nurses are pathetic and I had money stolen out of my purse.

Cool hospital the cleaning staff are very friendlythe doctors are okay though they think too much of them selves and like we aren’t even allowed to talk to them in the hall way or anything..they be like “make an appointment please “ .could really use faster wifi and an unlimited amount would be great ..the nurses are just the best seriously..some of them are really nice to patients and some of them are just as annoying as the doctors

Ambulance at pick up point within half an hour. Thanks so much Zane (hope I spelled your name correct) who answered the pone at 06:30 after the first ring. Thank you to Gary Paul who dispatched the ambulance immediately. I really appreciate all of you as well as the ambulance men who also went the extra mile. This is exellent service.

25 weeks pregnant, rushed to the hospital because i had some watery discharge and was worried it could be amniotic fluid. Firstly my vitals where checked ( glucose, blood pressure and urine dipstick) then I was put onto a bed waiting for the doctor. At that point I am asked if I am on medical aid and I say no. I am then asked to pay R1500 right there on that bed I still had not been seen by a doctor, didn't know if my baby was fine. I brooke down as I was swiping my card on that bed asking to at least be visited and reassured all was good with my baby. Clearly I didn't win! After that the doctor comes and ask routine questions and goes to speak to the gyne who hasn't come to see me. She comes back saying the gyne advised me to be admitted because this could be a sign of early labour and cost is R30000 per night. I am not a nurse or else but I thought how could the gyne make such statement without even seeing me, doing a ultrasound to verify if my baby was fine? checking for holes in the uterus, and checking the amount of fluid in it? I refused to be admitted which seemed to piss off the staff who assisted me. I signed the refusal of treatment statement and got a referral letter from the doctor to be treated in a public hospital. Paid another R500 for the doctor consultation( basically to answer her questions about my general health conditions) and went privately to the public hospital where I got all the care I expected to have ( blood test, ultrasound etc). I am safely home now and my baby is doing great kicking as usual. No drips and no admission needed, the discharge wasn't amniotic fluid but caused by high levels of estrogen and quite common in the second trimester of pregnancy.
What a disappointment for this hospital. But God is good all the time.

Worst hospital I've ever been too. This is my second time here and it's only gotten worse. Such negligent nurses with attitude. So much for caring about patients. I've been in severe pain for two hours and they've done nothing about it at all. Even after multiple attempts to get some sort of output from them.

Poor bedside manner from the Doctor on duty on Christmas day. Disappointing to know that this is the service I got for my wife at the Emergency ward from a "health care professional" The fact that I had to tell him to check her again after his "examination" is completely poor. Further more I had to ask twice who he was as he didn't have the decency to introduce himself properly. The upside is the nurse was great and she should have been the doctor on duty as she did more than the man who lost his tongue. You won't be seeing me anytime soon!!!

An elderly family member asked for a blanket over 10 times at night with no help until the morning. She was left hungry when there was no medical reason for her not to provided with a meal. She messed herself and had to suffer being uncomfortable and indignity of asking to be assisted but alas there was no assistance. On one occasion when the nurse acknowledged her she insisted that she speaks louder so that she does not have to wake up from her comfortable chair. It's her job not to sit on a chair but to attend to a patient. This is in ICU2. This is so hurtful that professionally trained nurses can behave in this manner without compassion and empathy. It really sickens me
