Great place to visit with kids.Lots of fun activities.Nice hilly runs.Visited in April which is not cold.

Third time we have stayed here having booked through First Exchange. Outstanding accommodation and facilities with plenty to do in the Champagne Valley area. Come rain or shine a fantastic stay. Don't forget the Drakensberg Boys Choir.

They had a conference on so that seems to be what they focus on however our waiter once we had got his attention was very good.

Tranquil and well maintained. The amenities include a dam for canoeing (supplied) and fishing (good luck there are no fish), tennis, hiking, paid action adventures such as paintball, horse rides of various difficulties, abseiling, down hill monster bikes, zip line course as well as free stuff such as jungle gym, aviaries and tea. The restaurant is pretty good usually and always on our treat list. The boys choir is next door so go to a concert if there is one on. The supermarket keeps a range of supplies for campers and recently started keeping second hand jackets at low prices. There is a petrol facility although it is erratic, typical of mountain people. Helicopter service, reptile and bird shows also nearby.

Have been going here for more than 20 years. So much to do, so much to see, it's beautiful no matter what time of the year. You needn't have to go anywhere once you are here as they have just about everything. From durban it's only a 250km drive, which by itself can be a adventure if you want
