A tidy campsite with electrified stands as well as stands without electricity. Unfortunately no swimming pool, but breathtakingly beautiful hikes into the Drakensburg. You can cool off in the mountains streams.

Very poor ! We were booked for three days’ camping but left after two days. Ablusions not cleaned in two days. Shop closed on both days. Wood cutting by chain saw all day long right across the road from our campsite never again !

Oh, and then there were the “campers” allowed to “camp” in their sedans !!!!

Really an excellent camp site! Close to some amazing trails! The bottom ablutions were a bit neglected and the showers got flooded pretty easily.
There was more than one occasion where the camp's gates were open after 22:00 and there was no security guard at the guard post. This made us uneasy and question whether our possessions would be safe when we started with our 3 day hike

This is a very neat and well situated camp site, it leads to many hiking trails and offer days of enjoyment. It is also very close to many other attractions. The food is at the restaurant is okay however the views are breath taking. The bathrooms need a desperate makeover, the men's bathrooms have no shower curtains and all the taps are leaking profusely.

The trail to Sterkspruit Falls begins here. The base has ample parking. The trail is very manageable even for couch potatoes like me who become weekend explorers. The views along the trail vary from dense forest cover to open skies and mountains. At the end a bench to rest and view of the falls are your rewards. Opportunities for selfies abound. The return walk can be a bit much as it's almost exclusively uphill but upon returning to the base you can have light refreshments at the café before moving on. A lovely few hours may be spent here.
