A beautyful place and many, different animals
We had four nights and three safari days at this magical Lodge. Everything was, honestly, perfect! From the game drives to food to the service. Beautiful located overlooking a small waterhole, right under the milky way - next time we do safari in Kruger its gonna be at Mohlabetsi!
See you next time (:
Beautiful place. Beautiful people. Unpretentious African hospitality. A must for your bucket list!
I have been to Mohlabetsi 6 times. Each trip required over 24 hours of travel to get there, and I still look forward to every visit. You cannot ask for more care from the lodge and that includes every worker there. The game drives never fail to amaze and each and every one is unique. We always go with other people and we have never had one who wasn't extremely pleased to be at Mohlabetsi and regretted having to leave. All in all the best vacation and/or life you can hope for.
The attention to the details is everything. The staff is very attentive without being overwhelming. It's a great experience
Do take the safaris.
Lovely staff and excellent food. Game drives were great but I hope they got some rain as they area was looking terribly dry
To anyone who has a dream of an African Safari or to those who have been to the "six star" lodges
You must go to Mohlabetsie! We have just returned from a four week trip in Africa and Mohlabetsie was the star in our crownI challenge anyone to fault it as a true African experience. My wife being physically impaired was treated with complete care.We may have just missed out on the big 5 but two packs of wild dogs..Woah! Having experienced over 300 drives over the years our ranger Sydney could not be topped. Easily said but please God we will be back.Thank you all at Mohlabetsie

We have been to this lodge four times, 2004, 2008, 2013 and 2015 and the reason we keep returning is that we cannot fault it. Everyone associated with looking after you are wonderful and cannot do enough for you. It has the luxury of the camp combined with proper rough safaris (no tarmac roads). We always have wonderful sightings.
This is a little piece of paradise within paradise itself. The staff, the food, the lodges; you just have to relax here. At sunrise (6.15) you enjoy the first safari, then breakfast and time to relax and enjoy the silence. At 15.30 you go on the second safari, both done by the same team of tracker and ranger. They will do everything in their power to ensure you see at least once the Big 5 and lots of other animals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all onsite, since you are miles away from a city. The food is delicious! Go there!
