Very nice place, in the heart of nature. Beautiful scenery, need 4x4 or bakkie to access.

Campsites are good but you need a 4x4 to drive a caravan or motorhome down the steep gravel road!

We enjoyed a two night stay in the camp site in such a beautiful setting surrounded by the forests of Magoebaskloof! Peaceful and quiet and would highly recommend it!

The campsite and surroundings are a feast for the eye - a lovely place to unwind. The dirt access road off the R71 is shocking however. It is barely suitable for non-raised vehicles. During my visit I was one of three guests who required the staff to pull our trailers out the main road with their bakkie in order to get out. Don't forget to pack your caravan-type converter plug as the electrical points are non-standard size.

Beautiful green surroundings with stunning views of the nature. Would suggest not coming down the hill in a sedan or hatchback unless quite high. Bumpy and steep roads making it difficult to maneuver your way down. Good camping spot but be advised you need a camping adaptor to make use of the electricity at the camp sites (reception does have them for R180). Consider bringing earplugs if the noise of cicadas and frogs bug you.

We made a spontaneous booking to one of the huts at the lake. Beth, the receptionist, made us clear that this was already booked. But she offered us to stay in an even bigger flat. This one hadn't been cleaned for a while and the kitchen is on a very low standard. Too high priced for what you get
