Peaceful and quite. Easy to get there with the most beautiful views of the Maluti mountains
Just ensure you take enough fire wood for winter

The chalets are old but very functional. No TV. However very disappointing in the cleanliness when we arrived.

Truly magical place. Go all the way up the chain ladder and then past the dam to find rock altars and secret tunnels

Very nice place to stay. It's hidden away on a small road out of town, but worth the drive.

Great place. We camped here for one night during Kersiefees. We did not have enough time to hike, but I hear it is amazing. Didnt give it 5 stars mainly due to bathrooms bei g far away.

Nice place! They just really need to do more regular and better maintenance on their facilities. It was disgusting. I'll go there again though.

Absutely gorgeous. One of the nicest places iv ever been to hike. Most lovely stone cottages and camping so cozy. Hikes have caves and ladders and water Makes for a stunning hike. The 4x4 route is very hectic though. We got stuck with our fortuner.

The reserve is in a beautiful location, but the facilities are a bit run down. It has a lot of potential, but some money has to be spent to improve it.

This is one of my favourite places to go to for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Meiringskloof is absolutely beautiful situated in a valley. It is surrouned by the sandstones of the Clarence Formation giving spectacular views of cliff faces. This also allows youbto go for a hike in the valley where you have to use a chain ladder to get out of the valley on top of the sandstones. Fouriesburg is also close by if you need to buy anything. Meitingskloof is also a geilogical wonder for those that find that interesting.
