Overall the Mtn store in Chatsworth has good service and a friendly staff base. After I applied for my contract they asked me to wait for 24 hours. It took a little longer but I still received my device the Sunday after the Friday I applied.
Mtn takes a little longer with contracts but there willing to give people without a credit history a better chance then other networks do.

Took 2 weeks to apply for a phone. Worse cell store ever. Telkom took 20 mins to open account.
