One of the best rest camps. Book a night in the tented camp. They are clean and cosy. Maintenance needs some small attention.
The small Braai on the Porch is well placed and while having a braai, your view over the sabie river is breath taking.
In the tented camp you do not need to waste fuel and time. All the different animals will come to the Sabie river to quench their thirst. While sitting we have seen elephants drinking and having a bath, various hoofed animals, hippos, birds and the cherry on the cake, a full grown leopard.
Here you should be armed with binoculars, cameras and maybe a steaming cup of coffee

Lovely camp on the banks of the Sabie river. Chalets, Tented camp and caravan park with plenty wildlife makes this camp a very popular tourist destination. Visitors sitting on the Restaurant deck cannot but feel soothed by the view towards the river and the Lebombo Mountains beyond.

In this rest camp, the bounty and plenitude of nature are very evident, eloquently symbolised by the most conspicuous of its numerous trees, the mighty sycamore fig, which provides generously for the livelihood of many birds and insects. Not only do these giants produce fruit at least twice a year, but different trees produce fruit at different times, extending the gifts of life over many months. Watching the endless procession of animals coming to drink at the Sabie River establishes a sense of one's own place in the eternal cycle.

Modern and clean. Good view over the river. Great sightings. Quiet at night. Bungalows clean and comfortable. Sleeping in tents is good for visitors wanting to visit the Park on a budget.

Lower sabie camp is one of the nicest camps in Kruger. They have a very well stocked shop with all the essentials one needs. A petrol station with friendly and helpful staff and The camp itself is well run and maintained. There's also ample parking which is good because this camp can often be very busy.

One of the nicest and scenic rest camps in the Kruger. Great activities offered and we really enjoyed the night gane drives offered from this rest camp. Views and game viewing around the area have always been good every time we stayed over at this camp. Shop and restaurant available at the camp. One star deducted for the average condition of the chalet we stayed in on our last visit.

One of the best camps in Kruger - Staff at reception are helpful with all your needs as a visitor. Having stayed in their permanent tents, rondawel & chalets, all I can say is I'm happy with all accommodation offered.

Enjoy something to eat at the Mug & Bean while having an amazing view of the Crocodile river. The river is rich with wildlife witch includes crocodile, hippos, elephants and buffaloes. Perfect for a sun downer .

An excellent camp in the Kruger National Park. The viewing deck and restaurant area are a worthwhile place to spend some time for lunch. There are several good drives around the camp and game spotting on the Skukuza - Lower Sabie - Crocodile Bridge road is particularly good. In peak seasons traffic congestion, particularly at predator sightings can be a problem.
