I don't even know how to put into my experience into words because words just don't do it justice, but I shall do my best. My wife and I just spent the last 5 days and nights with Alison and Cor and they were absolutely amazing! They are extremely warm and welcoming and they go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. The accommodations are suitable and the proximity to Kruger is fantastic.

Initially, we were only going go into the park with Cor for our first day to get our bearings and then we intended on driving through on our own for subsequent visits. After a day filled with amazing animal sightings, detailed knowledge of the animals and park, along with great company, we decided to do 2 more days with Cor in the park. We weren't disappointed. Not only did we get to see such beautiful animals but we also learned so many interesting facts about them.

We were very lucky to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, rhino, and hippopotamus just to name a few. Unfortunately we weren't able to see the elusive leopard but I guess that means we will have to come back! And we will definitely be staying here.

We made two fantastic new, genuine friends in Alison and Cor and we can't wait to return to see them and all of the animals again! Thanks for the unforgettable experience.

Hosted by Alison and Cor, both very knowledgeable in local and Kruger wildlife and animal behaviour, the lodge is a haven in the wilderness. Very comfortable accommodation with great facilities and at a reasonable cost. Wildlife abounds and from the verandah I saw zebra, kudu, giraffe and warthog ambling by.The bird life is also tremendous. Both my hosts act as personal guides on visits to the Kruger Park.
