Not really private hospital standard, a good number of the staff are friendly enough but the facilities and feel of the hospital doesn't feel any different from a public hospital, not very organized or orderly it doesn't feel like the staff are comfortable in their work. It was clean at least
Visited Radiology. I was initially told my appointment was on the 7th floor. When I got there a gentleman was considerate enough to take me all the way down to floor 0 where the MRIs are done. He took my papers and told me to someone would come assist me. After 5 minutes he came back and saw me still waiting and went to enquire why no-one has seen me yet. Staff friendly.
Rather use alternative hospitals than this one. You will pay all per-required payments after months you have been discharged you will be told you are owing then they send debt collectors.
There is no transparency. The hospital should conduct services according to the scheme rules and per individual medical aid options.
Improved so much. Admission process at reception could be better.Dr Kotu was amazing & operation went well, my room was clean. Really cannot get over how great the nurses were except for nurse M. Maake who was on nightshift, she was very dismissive and never wanted to assist anyone. The things she said about the other patients was really distasteful, couldn’t wait for the morning shift to come through. The food was good and the kitchen staff were nice and patient.
My son was admitted last night, he's currently at the Paeardetric ward on the 8th floor. There's literally one nurse (Nkuna) attending 5 toddlers. The poor hasn't been on lunch. Why is the hospital understaffed?
Rude nurses at paeds and dirty wards
I had such a great experience at the hospital. For a moment I almost forgot I was sick. Everyone from the guards, cleaners, nurses, doctors was very friendly and accomodating. There was one lady who was very rude and refused to help me when I was in pain but I chose not to dwell on her because really she is not worth the praises. LPH your staff is amazing, friendly and they make you feel at home. The place is kept very clean and the food is healthy aswell. Thank you so much for going an extra mile for your patients!
Paeds ward is disgusting Looks more like a prison ward! Not taking my child there ever again. Horrible experience.
Ward not clean.Linen not changed from admission until discharged. No housekeeping at all
Was referred there by my house doctor. Ample parking and security, although directions on the boards in the foyer can be confusing if not updated. Service and promptness of staff are commendable.
Best Service, friendly nurses and doctors
My husband and I have experienced a traumatic experience at Paeds ward. I found my 9 months old baby with a bottle of milk in his mouth on his own without supervision, we realised that the supervisors are protecting their staff as we tried to get to the bottom of it and we were told that whoever did that was dealt with. Poor service
The staff at the surgical ward is awesome.kind regards to Dr Mafeelane,he's the best
The facilities are outdated and some of the rooms are not very well maintained.
The staff are not very friendly either. I withe not recommend spending a night here.
