I luv going to Barnes Spar, and it certainly has improved in many ways. One thing that really irritates me is that cashiers dont greet customer when u get to till. They scream across at friend at next till and often dont say a word to customer. Train them please.

Awesome friendly staff but the shop inside very disorganized and didn't smell good at all. Won't go back there with the Checkers being right next door to spar.

I went to Spar looking for some rocket and basil, but was unfortunately out of stock. The manager/owner overheard me asking the packer if they had any. He promptly came over and said that he would be able to organise some for me and deliver to my home. He took my details, and literally an hour later, he was at my door with both products. Upon asking how I could pay for the items, he told me that there was no charge this time.
Unbelievable service and just such a heart warming experience!

This morning I went to look for a specific spar brand product which was out of stock. The manager offerred to deliver this item to me within 30min or phone me once the item has arrived. This he did 30min. later ( the item costs R 17.99 ) Thanks for excellent service which is hard to find in Port Elizabeth !
