In a beautiful setting. Super walk around the sanctuary. Would have preferred if it was more photographer friendly. Still quite enjoyable outing.

A lovely place to experience serenity and enjoy nature.
There are benches around for the eldery to have a seat when exhausted. The pan is in a circular format lots of people use this place for exercising ( jogging / walking) .
Constant patrolling so its very safe.

This place is lovely for a walk or for bird watching. It is quite and peaceful. There is also parking and benches to sit. It is also known as The Pan and is surrounded by a high income residential area.

Fenced bird sanctuary in Westdene, Benoni where many residents and visitors walk their dogs, cycle and run. The area is well maintained and the community respects the space ny keeping it clean. There are several litter bins and benches installed to encourage this. Lovely area.

Great place to unwind - do a little birdwatching, have a picnic or engage in some physical activity such as walking, jogging or cycling. Safe and relatively quiet traffic-wise.

Beautiful spot to simply catch your breath as you watch nature at play.
For the more active folk, you can take a quick 2.5 km jog or saunter around the pan stopping to greet regular faces with a nod and

Great place to watch birds and take a stroll with your family, walk at leisure or run by yourself or exercise your dogs. Very safe. Just needs to be little more strict with people who don't pick up after their dogs even tho packets and bins are made available.
