Good place with a lot of colonialism heritage for the southern African whites ( British, Hollander, etc). Pity they didn't include Africans. It would have been superb.

Very peaceful,quiet and very helpful and friendly staff! Very much enjoyed our stay waking up to a delicious breakfast buffet. A tour through the heritage site is worth while with a spa treatment, thanx again to the Kedar lodge for hosting us!

It was such a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was wonderful and intimate, the rooms were fantastic. I loved how much effort they put in displaying the rich history of our country.

We had our hospital year end function at Kedar Heritage Lodge in the Boma. My wife and I booked in for the night and service was excellent. We had a very nice breakfast the next morning and wandered around all the statues.

We had a wonderful time at Kedar what an experience The history is so rich, I'm happy to have been park if the heritage celebration yesterday. I recommend that anyone should visit the site. AMAZING!

The staff at the reception was not very friendly nor helpful (the concierge was, luckily!).The rooms are good. However, the towels and duvet covers were worn out. The quality of the food depended. The a la carte meals we had at the bar were great, but the buffet at the restaurant was not that good. The chicken fillet was still rare from the inside, whereas the steak was overdone. Breakfast was just fine. The WiFi speeds were terrible - even for African standards. All with all, not the best experience. There are exhibits from the Anglo-Boer war all over this place, which can be great if you're into that.

The Anglo-Boer War memorials and memorabilia compliment this most interesting and unusual Heritage and Game Lodge. The food, ambiance and accommodation are of exceptionally high standard.
