The food at Kashmir was absolutely AMAZING! Its safe to say that this is the best curry we ever had! And we know our curries! I am really not sure why apl the nwgative reviews :( we had lamb vindaloo and butter chicken. Service was also excellent!

We went there as a family on Christmas day. The food was terrible and the service, pathetic. The standards has really dropped at this place ☹.

Far below average Indian food. Untrained watering staff. Tables remained in cleared and cluttered with used glassware on plates. Overall experience was not good.

Food is not what it once was. Service was shocking. They had 1 waitress to see to a full restaurant. The hostess of Kashmir was unfriendly and unwilling to assist the poor waitress. Very bad experience. There are much much better indian cuisine restaurants in the area.

Below average Indian food with a nice view.

The food was so oily I was afraid I'd be invaded by foreigners trying to steal oil. The taste was average. Server was a good guy. Kinda tacky restaurant, bottles of alcohol stacked on one big table, random managers table in an awkward position, shower in the bathroom. Never going back again.

Booked for the Father's Day buffet under the pretense that there was no al a carte option, even though I asked for this option twice. Food options were okay, nothing special. Food was of average standard at best. What did leave a bad taste in our mouth was the behavior of the manager. Completely unprofessional, she lacks proper etiquette required by food industry staff. Complaints as well as simple inquiries made her hostile and slightly aggressive which made for an unpleasant and tense dining experience.I understand that customers may be tough however the manner in which my father was treated was unacceptable. Honestly, I have received better service from fast food chains. Hence, her inadequacies as a manager makes her incompetent for the position she holds. The tastiest part of the buffet was the bought out ice-cream and carrot cake. I have eaten here before, the choices of the menu are tasty however based on this experience I will hesitate to visit this establishment again.

Terrible mistake to choose Kashmir Restaurant for Mother's day lunch. The place leaks . Containers in place to catch drips. Its like a derelict building.
No one to welcome guests on arrival . No place to leave wet coats and umbrellas.
The waiters are pleasant doing the best they can.
The food and set up definitely doesn't meet standards of Umhlanga Hospitality industry.
Definitely won't recommend Kashmir . The place should be shut down.

Worst experience ever. Attended a family function. Only 1 air con worked on the hottest day of the month. The manager/owner is the most arrogant, rude and self centered person I've ever met. She Refused to help, screamed at guests and was extremely unprofessional. The food was terrible. Very disappointing experience on what was supposed to be an auspicious day. I will recommend no one to use this place as a function venue. It was a terrible experience that left majority guests wanting to get out as soon as possible.
