Fine dining restaurant as others of similar class. Massively overpriced for regular meat dishes. The prices on the electronic menu greatly differs from sit in - unethical. Futher, the restaurant actually chargers a service fee for making use of Entertainer vouchers - greedy. Many more re hospitality & customer centricity. :)

Great place, great vibe, great food (we had a t-bone steak and a lamb shank with veggies). The menu is full of life, so many options to choose from, be it meat of burgers; they even accommodate vegetarians with a variety of salads. Ooh the cheese and mushroom sauce is to die for. The service is on point too. I had a great time here, I'll definitely come back in the near future.

The black Angus steak incredibly good cut and just melt in your mouth steak. Salt and pepper rub was just rite! It was cocked to perfection!

Local T-Bone could've been a more balanced cut. But it was a great steak as well!

Every time I'm in Durban, I swing by this place!

Previously I have had good food at this restaurant and said in my previous review "Best steak every time. Quick and friendly service."

Tuesday 14th.:Today I had a late lunch and it was a disappointment. The steak tasted old and had a very powdery texture and my friend 's chicken wasn't any better. He said that it tasted like it had been pulled off a shelf somewhere. The outer bitter leaves of a lettuce were a rude shock as part of the Greek Salad. I am left wondering if we timed our lunch during the chef's siesta. I realize I should have complained at the time but didn't want to spoil the atmosphere at lunch.

Please note that the lunch specials are not running even though it is clearly advertised on their website. Apparently only available until the end of October.

Been here 3 times now and I cannot fault this place. Wish I could give them more stars. The waiters are amazing. It's like they learn the entire menu and how to prepare each dish. Super friendly staff and the food is always done to perfection.

Service is impeccable and food was awesome. Thursday's is Date Night which includes a three course meal with a good bottle of wine. All this for a bargain. Can definately recommend Butcher Boys Thank you

Very friendly staff, there biltong is amazing. As well as there fillet with a side of veg, you cannot go wrong with a good fillet.

Attractive decor and vibe. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Menu was definitely 5-star. Portions were healthy and steaks were perfect. Expect to pay for the quality.

WOW!! This was definitely one of the BEST steaks we ever had!! Perfectly cooked meat, excellent service, fantastic vibe!!

We didn't have a reservation, so they asked if we want to sit at the bar and eat, as the place was packed with people. We didn't mind sitting at the bar, and we are so pleased that we stayed and didn't opt to rather go eat at a different restaurant. Although a bit expensive, the food is totally worth it.

If you are a meat lover and you visit Durban, look NO further!!

This place is an absolute must for meat lovers. They know exactly how to deliver their cuts and they have the best and finest cuts on offer. The staff is very friendly and the service was amazingly speedy. Checks all the boxes. Flavor, quality, speed and ease.

This is the place to go to, if you want a proper steak. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. It was a little pricey but it is worth it if you want the complete experience.
