Authentic Market with a wide variety of artisan breads, confectionery, double yoke eggs, fresh vegetables, jams, marmalades, sauces, cheese and arts and crafts. Remember authentic is not cheaptherefore be prepared to spend to enjoy. Whilst most things are homemade.not everything will satisfy the tastebuds or be tasty. Looks can be deceiving. Tables and chairs available for a sit down meal. Choice of freshly made meals. Successfully maintains it's crafts appealunlike other flea markets which end up looking like a commercial goods market.

For most part it is good. Watch out for those old tannies that sell tarts. They are not as good as they claim. They look tempting but thats as far as it goes. Not worth the price at all. The jams, cheese and nougat you cannot go wrong with.

I have been traveling Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and KZN and one of the things I hoped to find was a farmers market. Made in South Africa is preferable to Made in China or India. It is not a large market but all seasonal produce is covered. Cheese, vegetables, home made foods, chocolate (including yummy sugar free), breads, etc. Early start but so worth the time.

Small fresh produce market very close to town. A number of stall offered organic fare.

Lots of parking and relaxed ambience. Ideal to take kids along since it has a big play area and pony rides
