  I thought this place was great for me. But, my wife disagreed with me. It was quiet and you could have some alone time. Places to shop were a distance away either West or East of the place. Not close by. Restaurants as well. This place has a good breakfast. Five star breakfast and at your time. Not very late though. If you have a wife that loves shopping, this is not the place for you. But, adventure yes that's the place to be at.

  Checked in on a Thursday afternoon. The owner greeted and led us through to our room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious as well. Both rooms had heated floors and the bathroom had heated towel racks. The bed had two electric blankets and we needed them. We encountered two thumb-size spiders and a newt who sought shelter from the cold.
  
  The room does have a large flat screen and DStv which wasn't picking up signal. This may be due to the weather. The cupboards give ample storage space if you want to unpack. There were also teas and coffee with a kettle in the room which was nice. The bed was firm and there were more than enough pillows to go around. There were only two bath towels and one hand towel which were not changed. We had to dry one towel on the rack and one an open cupboard door. Breakfast was Continental and served to us by the owner. Eggs were made to order. Coffee was pretty good too.
  
  The grounds were well maintained and green after the rains. We even saw some guinea fowl on the lawn. The communal area comprised of a pool table, couches and tables for group activities. There was a fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster for guests to make use of after breakfast if needed. The fireplace was a nice touch.
  
  My partner and I enjoyed our stay. Its close to many of the Midlands attractions so we were out for most of the day. I would recommend the place even if your'e not going to go out much.
