  I have just returned from a family holiday in Kamberg. It is within easy reach of Pietermaritzburg and so well within reach of Durban as well.
  
  There is something very special about Kamberg. It isn't the high berg and is in some way understated as a place. It had its own glory, often missed by seekers of high mountains. It is a short walk of about an hour and a half to the Bushman Paintings. Here you can bask in a time warp and reflect on the people who created this art so long ago. Will definitely visit Kamberg again soon.

  Really nice and quiet place for a holiday!
  Great for hiking.
  
  The huntsman hut is huge and perfect for a family or a big group if friends.

  Drakensberg is majestic as always and Kamberg resort itself is a great and affordable base to stay whilst exploring this wonderful area.
