If its not on your bucket list it should be. You will not be disappointed with the experience of a life time under the able hands of your pilot (With Springbok Colours and is an SA champion) David MacGregor. Every flight is different and you get welcomed at 5am arrival with coffee and rusks, land to a celebratory glass of champagne or orange juice and finish off with a full and hearty breakfast. This is laterally a snooze and you loose experience.

It was an awesome experience with a very professional balloon pilot. We had a great breakfast after the flight and the hospitality was wonderful with lots of fun. We also stayed on the farm in one of the guest units which was excellent. I will recommend this experience of a lifetime to anyone!

Drakensberg Ballooning has lovely rustic accommodation, The ballooning flight had absolutely breathtaking views, we could see the Drakensberg mountain range, and we spotted many antelope from the sky. We landed in the game reserve adjoining the Drakensberg Ballooning property, and as soon as we were back on the ground we popped the Champaign, after packing up the ballon we returned to the ballooning shed were we enjoyed our coffee and delicious full breakfast :) with views of the garden and the mountains behind. I took my Mum and Dad on this trip and it was the highlight of their stay in South Africa.
