We arrived extremely late and they were already cleaning up and ready to call it a day but yet they helped us, provided us with excellent service and a really good quality meal!

A modern yet warm and welcoming venue, excellent staff and good quality food!

Service in terms of timings, waiting on food etc always an issue here, our office uses this place alot aswell as myself personally hence I can say this. The food is great and staff are super friendly, ambience is really something else truly stunning.

Don't go when they are hosting a party. Too noisy for all their tables unless you like deep bass resonating through your table and your conversation. Poor layout. Food and service adequate, only water not provided even though requested.

Quality food and great staff. Jake's menu is on the pricier side of things and you can expect to wait a while for your orders, especially when the restaurant is busy.

The food is fantastic; fresh ingredients prepared exceptionally well, great portion sizes and thoughtful plating make for a wonderful meal. Pricing can seem steep, but you really do get what you pay for. The staff are friendly and attentive. I can definitely recommend Jakes.

Had the Cajun Chicken Flat bread and it was delicious. The kids had the milkshakes which were equally pleasing to the taste buds. Good ambiance too. Wish we could have stayed to lounge in the bar.

I don't normally like busy crowded places like this but the burgers were great and 2 for 1. The entertainment was cool. The truth coffee awesome. The bar tenders great waiters possibly less so

Always love going to Jakes. Great vibe, great food, great staff. Inside or outside, chilled meal or vibey dinner party You'll enjoy your time at Jakes.

Duck is the signature dish, but for lunches I generally eat their burgers and dinners I enjoy their fillet steak (arguably the best steak I have had in Cape Town).

You'll generally need to book for dinner.

Gentle, pleasant restaurant in Steenberg Village. Excellent food - I recommend the crispy duck and the variety of flatbreads. Their steaks are delicious. Sit outside on a summer day - perfect!

My wife Denny and I had a very special evening. Cool and comfortable outside. We were warmly welcomed by front staff. Friendly and animated good service from Amalia. Food excellent. Wine List extensive and good selection. Will take good memories back home in Natal Midlands.
