Not impressed with the beer "garden" it's just a couple of wooden tables with umbrellas over watching the parking lot. We went for the famous mutton curry today and they were sold out. So can only comment on the fish cakes, nice and spicy 7/10 samoosas very average but the crumbed calamari cooked to perfection. However management needs to evaluate the service which was seriously lacking.

Very quiet and peaceful place where you can relax if you really looking for time of yourself. Friendly staff in the bar but a bit expensive e.g Long Island is R80 that harsh.

Great place to hang out and chill for a beer or two. Not so great for smokers as there is no indoor smoking area. Only some of the tables outside have ashtrays unfortunately which further complicates the life of a smoker. The staff is mostly pleasant and the food is good, albeit slightly pricey.

The refurbished Island Hotel is amazing, it's been completely revamped and looks elegant and stylish. The must have bunny chows is divine and tasteful and makes you keep coming back for more.
