Lovely outing for the kids, beautiful scenic walk to see the cows.
Brilliant way of billing for kids for the buffet breakfast. Age appropriate charges ensured that we paid R7 for our 3 year old. I wish other restaurants would do this!
Heads-up, they're currently busy with renovations, so it's messy, and not everything is working the way it's supposed to.response / report this review -

One of the few places in Pretoria where you get to eat a lovely meal whilst breathing in the fresh farm air. I have been there a few times and I have never been disappointed. The staff are really friendly, the service is excellent and the food has always been delicious. The place looks even more picturesque after the renovations.

Even with building work in progress it still remains a great place to visit. They cannot serve any alcoholic beverages at the moment, but they are in process if updating their license. Food tastes good. Service is a tad lacking, but not bad. Prices are also very good.

Irene Farm Village is truly a gem in Centurion. I would (and have) personally recommend it to locals, travellers, and everyone in between. With recently upgraded facilities, and more renovations underway, the dining experience is fantastic. The food is of very high quality and you're spoiled for choice. The little shop they have also recently upgraded has many interesting and special products available. They also sell the freshest raw farm milk (and other dairy products) you will find, unless you have your own cow.
As far as I know, they don't make their ice-cream on site, with their own milk, which will be the only bummer, if it's true. But I'm sure they'll get to that eventually!
It needs to be said that they operate completely cash-free, which is great for safety reasons.

Irene farm is a dairy farm with wonderful facilities for you to take your family to.
There are the obligatory cows around, a shop which specializes in interesting dairy products as well as a restaurant and other facilities.
There is a large piece of very beautiful land that you can take walks on. Well worth a visit.response / report this review -

Bring a jug get some milk, buy some random goodies at the farm stall. Spend the day chilling on the farm with the family. Great buffet Sunday breakfast/lunch.

Was so disappointed with this place. First visit ever over this past weekend, and expected so much more. BAsically its a park with cows, and you can get your milk. Currently being renovated as well. I guess for families with kids, its like a SPUR with animals (chickens, ducks and cows). If you looking for a quiet meal with a country feel about it, i would give this place a miss. The only upside was the milk we bought from the shop, the other products are overly priced. If you in the area, worth the visit, but I would not make a trip out of it.

Want to get away from the city? Amazing place for kiddies. Get to feed ducks, geese and swans at the ponds. You see mother hen with her young fury bundles and even get to 'pet' the cows. The restuarant is serving amazing food and go with plenty of money when you go inside the shop. You'll want to buy everything you see!!!

Would love to be able to give an actual review.
But upon arrival with my small well behaved dog - a friend who had invited me was under the impression it was dog friendly - the manager stated kindly that there were no dogs allowed. Fair enough. So we decided to move the car to a shaded parking as the car was in the full sun. My dog is used to sitting in the car and enjoys it actually. I found a parking under the tree and stood waiting while my friend went to fetch her car. And the manager came back to chase me away. Said that I was not allowed to hold parking - I just thought under the circumstances it would be ok. I began to explain and he was not interested and pretty much told us to leave. They missed out on a big party and we missed out on what maybe was good food
Pretty disappointed. Have heard many good things but there we are. But we had an awesome time at Huckleberry's which is dog friendly.response / report this review -

It's a beautiful dairy farm with cows, chickens, etc that makes you feel like you're out of the city's hustle and bustle while still in it. They have the nicest shop where you can get fresh dairy and baked goods among other things. There's also two nice restaurants to enjoy. Nice place to spend your Sunday afternoons

Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff at the restaurants. Good food. Love the photo frame deco and place mats. Adds a lovely touch. Lovely farm shop with so many lovely treats to choose from.

Restaurant / coffee shop with farm atmosphere and local produce. Stroll around the farm - the kiddies love the farm animals and stream flowing through the premises.

The food here is lovely but the service has deteriorated a fair bit. I think the popularity of the restaurant has inundated them. The flapjacks and fresh cream on a sunday morning are still to die for and the scenery is magical. Very good place for the kids!

Met a friend for a catch up and Lunch. The staff are very friendly and the food was very good. Portions for me a little to big. Attached to the restaurant is a fabulous shop to get jams, honey , biscuits rusks etc, a bit pricey but then again you wouldn't do your monthly shop there . the kids can watch the cows being milked. We went during the week I have been told that weekends is could be a madhouse.
