The space is well cared for. The breakfast court offers a scenery of a lake with live animals because it is a nature conservancy. It is close to the beach, and one can hear and smell the Indian Oceanthe swimming facilities are cosy, and adventure golf has some fun to add to it there is Sundowner bar which is a nice spot to wine and dine and have a good time while viewing the oceanthe chalets are nice and cosy wooden cabinsthe town is nice because every place is almost close by

This place is absolutely an amazing to immerse yourself in nature. Very private and we were lucky enough to hear the ocean from our room too. Spotless every day and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Tutu was an especially lovely meet as she also was a Disney alumni and connected with us at our engagement dinner. She went the extra mile and brought a surprise champagne to our room.
I would've liked to know beforehand that the beach access was closed and be advised to go to the main Alkanstrand entrance but it's really not a big deal to go around. The location is close to everything!
The restaurant and bar were both wonderful and food and drinks delicious. I adored both the sea and lake views. Truly spectacular getaway for us. Would love to go back.response / report this review -

Location is ok, nice bar with sea view is the highlight. Friendly people. You may find monkeys in your room if you don’t close the window.
There is no access to the beach, all gates to the beach are locked. Breakfast was not included to my surprise, even booking com didn’t mention this. The remote of the TV was different brand than the TV and therefore didn’t work.response / report this review -

This is by far the best place in richards bay. Beautiful views. Beauty salon. Put put. Venues for functions. Best caravan park. Awesome food. Beautiful views

Great facilities for the price! Beautiful location and lots for kids to do. The rock pool was crystal clear. The ocean deck offers a stunning view. The rooms were very clean.

The wifi reception was non-existent at night in my own cottage. It works well at the restaurants. Their DSTV bundle has Kyknet which was a pleasant surprise. The staff are friendly and my cottage was clean. The safety deposit box didn't want to work but after I phoned reception it wasn't 5 minutes before someone arrived with a key I could use to open and close it.

Been there, can not wait for next trip to book there again. Staff very friendly. If you visit make sure you go and spend some time with Prince at the Sundowner deck.
