We drove 22 km each direction from our overnight destination (on a sand road nogal in the pitch dark) to eat what my wife describes as the best pizza ever (bit pricey) but awesome LOVED IT

We really enjoyed our lunch time meal.
The staff were friendly and the service good.
After reading some complaints about slow service we were expecting a long wait. This proved not to be the case for us.
When we left we found that we had a flat tyre.
The restaurant owner and staff assisted me to change the tyre. This above and beyond what we would have expected.
A big thank you for your help.

Beautifully set in the KZN Midlands, the view I'm every direction is absolutely breathtaking. The pizzeria has indoor as well as outdoor seating available with low and high back chairs and bar stools. A beautiful rustic atmosphere while the local farmers have a drink. The pizza was actually not everything I was hoping for, nor were the chicken livers but the experience was great which made it ok. I wouldn't bound to be there but if you are in the area it's not a waste of time. And the bar is fantastic.

Just the best wood fired pizza in the Midlands. Superb choices, great waiters, caring owners. Magical calm setting. Cold nights the fires are great to enhance the ambiance and I love the wood smoke fragrance that seeps from the oven. Always returning. Enjoy the craft beers too. 👍

You'll feel like you're in Italy, and that's only the setting. The pizza is incredible, and the atmosphere cozy. Definitely the place to stop over for a bite and a rest.

Effort was made to accommodate a party of nine, even though we didn't make a reservation. Service was welcoming and friendly, but that might have been the wine talking.
