Never stayed there, but may well do so now that we have taken a look at the place while cycling ing the area.

A great venue for a quiet get away for camping and caravaning. Close to town with some great hikes and trail runs or if you want to just chill by the dam.

This is one of the best camp sites in South Africa, I'm sure.
Tired, after a busy weekend, the tranquillity of the camp with lush green lawn, everything in pristine condition with the backdrop of indigenous forest was just what we needed.
Irvine was extra hospitable to us when it started raining.
(P.S. the hiking trail quite treacherous if wet after rain, take care)response / report this review -

Beautiful surroundings, lush green grass. Excellent ablutions. Function venue on site. Really well run park by owners.

This is my favourite destination in the Karkloof. It us beautifully maintained and has the cleanest ablutions if any campsite I have been to.
