Lovely hotel but restaurant is not great. Service is very relaxed, so not great if you're on a time limit. We found the food average and have been there 2x. The second time we remembered why we hadn't been there for so long after the first time.

The restaurant Pure is absolutely worth a visit. Great service and excellent food in a nice ambiente. Especially the garden is very cosy if it is not to windy. Try the burger or the filet. They are both magnificient and they are served with perfect cooked chips. Just enjoy!

A grand old dame with a fresh vibe. Incredibly warm and welcoming through clever ecclectic decor, mixing African and European pieces with contemporary style. This is a must visit, most especially for Jazz in the garden on a Friday afternoon.

I can't comment on the lodge but had lunch outside in the shade. The waiter was new and struggled with the questions we had about some of the tapas. The food however was great and I thought reasonably priced. Can definitely recommend for a lovely lunch.

Beautiful setting but the eggs Benedict took long to arrive and when it did it was cold. Also difficult to get the waiter's attention. Would expect more from a 5 star hotel.
