  Visited on black friday, doors opened early and people who were interested in the specials queued outside to get vouchers that would enable them to buy goods on special.
  The specials were underwhelming to say the least. No wonder a lot of people were leaving the shop empty handed. I was looking for a dishwasher but the prices were considerably higher than those in other shops.
  I then saw an LG dishwasher that was much much cheaper than the others at full price, however it had a "sold as is" sticker. I enquired more about it and the salesperson advised me that a customer had returned it because it was faulty but the store had tested it and found nothing wrong with it. Before i committed to buying it, the same salesman advised me to call LG customer centre to enquire about it.
  I called LG and the exact words that the lady told me after i gave her the model number were "please don't buy that machine", apparently it had a faulty motor and LG has refunded Hirsch's on this machine but Hirsch's went on to try and sell it even though it was faulty and without warranty.
  Even though it had a sticker saying its sold as is, i feel Hirsch's should do more to protect it's customers other than deliberately selling them faulty stuff.

  Misleading and deceiving advertising. They advertised a "15% discount from 23-25 Sept, but increased the price the day before, and decreased the price back to what it was the day after. False advertising. All the staff I dealt with were very unhelpful.

  HUGE selection of German and other European brands. Good service, however they don't always stand by their promise to "match any local store's price."

  The staff is extremely friendly. However the products never work well. Had very bad experience with their products. Purchased a kettle from them in July 2016. Stopped working in Feb 2017. Took it back to the store. Took 3 weeks for a response wherein I was given a voucher to replace the kettle. There was no stock for an exchange so I bought another make as advised by the sales person. Paid the difference & left. Got home, to find the kettle does nit work. Called the store & let off steam. Kind staff came & collected unit the Friday. Monday I had to call to find out what's going on. Manager still has no feedback for me & here I am with a hile in my pocket & no kettle!!!!

  Thanks Hirschs Strubensvalley for selling me an appliance that lasts the warantee period plus 5 days and then flipping me the birdie. I WON'T BE BACK!!!
