This hotel is "halal friendly". Quotes are because its a term that doesn't mean much. The food that is deemed to be halal doesn't have a certificate or someone who is qualified and oversees the kitchen to confirm things are as friendly as stated. The location is fantastic. Decor with neutral colours really makes you feel relaxed. Rooms are a bit different in that a standard room has the bathroom sink on open plan and open clothes shelf set up. The toilet and shower in its own cubicle. Views are stunning. The access to restaurants downstairs is perfect. The hotel parking access on the furthest southwest corner is not the usual access. And you can get it validated only for that access. The elevator uses a system whereby you need a key card to access your floor. Helps with security for guests. Overall, you will enjoy the stay until the bill.

Room design is weird with no bathroom. Wash basin outside and then 2 small rooms for shower and WC. I can still live with it but the Service is at its worst!!!

As an international traveller, all plugs are South African. When asked for a converter, they declined and asked me to buy. The price was exorbitant. The converter isn’t useful anywhere else in the world.

Dinner is worth not mentioning.

Service is slow and often needs multiple reminders. Not worth the value paid.

Had a wonderful 7 day stay over December. Hotel well taken care of and very clean. Big thanks to chef Wendy who accommodated our 3 year old who is allergic to most foods with custom breakfast daily. She is truly an asset to the hotel.

Loved my stay there. Rooms are quite nice. The only disappointment was the early closure of the pool area. Pool area closes at 18h00 and I wish they can let patrons enjoy the area until 22h00. We also had Christmas lunch and food was not the greatest.

Beautiful hotel. Service at reception is a bit slow for a 4 star hotel and the bathroom in the room is a bit awkward. Overall very nice place to book. Suggestion: When I approach reception they always look at me, then look away, this small interaction makes you feel as if no one really wants to assist. I would prefer a friendly greeting at least.
