Stay away! Yvonne cancelled our booking on the morning of our trip over the Easter weekend, telling us that she had made a mix up with the bookings - this after numerous emails and phone calls confirming that all is in order. She then refused to pay us our deposit back, after all that she put us through. This business will not make it if they treat people like this.

Was a nice stay. Busy wit upgrades. Looks like it will become a very nice place.

Shocking accommodation. Nice play area and pool. ROOMS NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!

Bridge has washed away so they put us on the other side of the river, in amongst the rocks and dust. We chose the resort for the green grass and play area, but that was a 10 min drive away because of the construction on the main road - none of this was communicated beforehand.

Units were overpriced, ugly and had strange interior layout. The one unit that they placed us in, before we asked to be moved, was a hot, stuffy, prefabricated unit that felt like a being in a caravan.

I was there for a day visit with a group of teens. It was OK. The fees for school children is acceptable. Adult fees are a bit on the steep side. Facilities are average, but it is nice with the river and lots of trees.

Nice picnic place plus weekend stay. Camping grounds are nice. Clean showers and restrooms. Fairly priced as well.

We stay here each time we're in Gauteng because it is away from the city and conveniently located near to both Pretoria snd Johannesburg. The campsites are grassed and shaded and it's peaceful during week nights. Good ablutions

This not a place to rent chalets from, buta very decent camp site. The ablutionsare clean, the electricity is steady and the bins and braai areas get cleaned out every day. There are pools and children's play areas with a hiking. Very decent for a camping weekend.

The so called "Chalets" is older than Oom Paul Kruger the drain is blocked the geyser not working and the walls full of holes.Dont waste your money coming to this ghost town..no bar no restuarant no shopbut it is advertised all over the grounds even at the gates and on their website ..rather go to Dewildt or another place where hygiene and clients are top of the list
    Very Dissapointed!!!!!!!!

Very nice place. Clean, quiet, convenient. Perfect for a braai/picnic. Decent for R100 per adult and R30 per child.

Positives: place is pretty quiet,Lawns are well kept and green (October), Restrooms are clean, No security issues. Log cabins contain small microwave, fridge and fan. Pools are clean. Negatives: there is a constant sound of cars passing by on the R511. Not a lot of taps or water points close to camping areas. Log cabins do not contain toilets, basins, water connections or dustbins. Log cabins are not very well insulated so very hot during the day and very cold at night. Although restrooms are clean they are in desperate need of maintenance Lot of the taps don't work properly, only 1 of the 3 showers in the men's restroom were really usable and even then the water temperature constantly changes from boiling hot to freezing cold. Water pressure in the showers is very low. A few door locking mechanisms are broken. Very few rubbish bins in and around camping areas.
