Lovely old guest house. Full of history of a by-gone era. Homely atmosphere. Good food. Great atmosphere. Well worth going. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

What a Lekker place, food is the best i have had for a long time. Robert is super friendly, nothing too much for him, and his staff are great. You have to try the Ribs, they butter soft and very tasty, finger licking good and the Garlic loaf this is how a garlic bread should be !

Only went there once, and not for a meal, however, the Managers' were a friendly couple.
We loved the 'country ambience'. I reckon it'd be a great place to relax for an overnight stay.

Its tranquil, off the main road, hosts are friendly and staff attentive. Been visiting here for 25 odd years and it has an old world country hotel feel about it. With Howick nearby and Midmar dam as well as being part of the midlands meander there is a lot to keep you busy. There are also lots of historical sites nearby. Food is good and accomodation is neat and clean.

A beautiful historic hotel, with gorgeous play area, and gardens, where families can relax and enjoy the fresh air and country side! A lovely wide verandah is an ideal spot for sharing a delicious meal with loved ones, and the prices are good!

As you the place you wonder if you should keep going or turn around. .I urge you not to be fooled by dusty roads or missing sign posts ..keep going my dear friends and you will discover a beautiful tranquil place that offers joy and happiness to big and small people alike. my family and I were greeted with friendly faces and treated to fantastic surroundings and Masterchef dining. definitely coming back with a lot more people.
