  If you are a nature lover then you should give Grootbos a visit. They habe hundreds of fynbos varieties. Some that you can only find in this reserve. A 4x4 nature tour is a must. The different lodges are all amazing. I stayed in one of the villas. The views from the villas are breathtaking. The staff are very friendly and the service is amazing.

  5 stars all the way for Grootbos. My partner and I were Married here a few days ago and we’re still in awe of the location set in a private reserve, the accommodations, the staff and their 5 star service and the cuisine is world class. One of my top 5 places to stay in the world!

  What an amazing lodge. We stayed in the villa with friends and had the most incredible relaxing weekend. Special mention has to be made of the art in the villa which we thoroughly enjoyed and rivals many gallery collections. Definitely try the spa, we loved it. The reserve is also great for running (if a little steep once you head up the hills). The perfect treat for a relaxing weekend away. Pricey but definitely worth it.

  I just love what they are doing with this property, and can't think of anywhere else in the area ( Hermanus included) I'd rather stay at. But then, I love Fynbos

  Wow what a stunning place. A home away from home. Luxury you cannot.believe. A fantastic view onto Walker Bay. Total relaxation. Service excellence. Horse riding, guided tours, spa treatments, restaurant and many more. Own landing strip. Fynbos nature.

  Nature as intended with minimal human intrusion yet luxurious accommodation set in dense vegetation. Beautiful views across Walker Bay, breeding ground for the Southern Right whales.
