I only dealt with reception, but they were quite unhelpful and slow. The whole place was in chaos

The staff and Docters here is awesome and they do amazing work by helping Great Dane Rescue SA to care for their rescues. Thanks Guys.

I have been with Glenstantia Veterinary Clinic for about 15 years or more. The reason I keep going there is I trust them; even though I live in Johannesburg. They are kind and caring, and when I was in the room with Dr Ben (in the old days) or Dr Kilian now, I feel like my cats and I are the most important in that room at that moment. Considerate, respectful, kind, knowledgeable and totally committed. Not only fantastic Vets, but the staff, are supportive, and do what they need to to keep things going smoothly. Always with a lovely bright smile, welcoming, and commiserating when needs be.

We have taken our animals to Glenstantia and they are so kind and gentle. What one must realize is that until tests have been done there are a multitude of different things that could be wrong. Having said that, if you think you know better why take them to the vet in the first place. That's because you don't know any better and have not been through the extensive training and constant CPD (continuous professional development) that they go through.
Also Google information - there is a lot to learn from the website.
Remember, help each other in love without judging each other.

Apart from being charged more than R1800 for an inconclusive diagnosis after tests and x-rays, I was told our Jack Russell must stay over at this clinic for more than 4 nights to be locked up in a very small 1x1m cage because they do not trust us to keep her still at home. They had this pre-conceived notion that she has a damaged shim in her spinal cord which was a complete fallacy confirm by arthritis medication from a different vet. When I complained (in writing) about the bill, he simply takes this nonchalant approach of there was nothing wrong with my service, you were the owner that removed the dog from my care before i could get to the bottom of the problem. Be careful of this Vet!!!
