Excellent service. One of the best restaurants in Port Elizabeth. It has great views facing the beach. The food is also great. I was absolutely satisfied with their service.

Best chicken salad I had in the EC! Simplicity at its best- excellent vinaigrette, fresh lettuce, beautifully marinated chicken with crispy skin.
Could consider a change in coffee beans. Service was very professional and friendly. Good wine list. Great views.

Great place with excellent friendly service I only had a cocktail that was refreshing and well prepared. Great views of the sea and I could imagine spending long lunches here would be great.

I ordered two gluten free meals. Both contained gluten in the end which causes big stomach problems in the end. The waiter and apparently also the chief were not well informed about the ingredients in their food.

A very nice atmosphere and great view to the waterfront. Excellent service. We enjoyed the tasting menu including the wine menu and were treated with 2 small, delicious surprices inbetween. All presented very delicately and served by a very nice and competent waitor. A very nice experience to finish our wonderful holidays in PE and South Africa.

Great food, great service. I don't give a 5/5 easily. This was a night to remember.

    Yum:
    Chateaubriand + bearnaise sauce
    Crepe Suzette

One of my two favorite spots for dinner in Port Elizabeth. Modern cuisine, a great wine list and brilliant service.

a nice restaurant, which belongs to the Beach Hotel. seems to be a noble restaurant, so don’t come in shorts an flip-flops, we felt a little underdressed when strolling in with our jeans and sneaker-Outfit. Service was good, food also. You can seat outside, but when you want to smoke, you have to leave the table and go around the corner (quite silly, when you’re the only one, who sits outside). So the restaurant wants to be more, than it is, but it’s fine to go there. There have a great wine list, too.

The USP is "fine dining". No staff member allocated to tables and difficulty getting service. No obvious supervision of staff. Sensed food served after standing - limp calamari, lukewarm vegetables. Food combinations and ingredients relatively tasteless - except excellent venison steak. Scant wine knowledge, and paired wine served at end of particular course - so no pairing. Observations made to staff met with indifference. Mediocre dining at best but fine dining price.

I'm sitting at the restaurant while writing this. Two words: abominable service. We finished mains, but have not been offered a dessert menu, coffee or even a look at our table in the last 30 minutes. Our „waiter for today“ must have became last in the Port Elizabeth staring contest for the last 10 years. Food wise they do a decent job here. The kingklip is well cooked and the Maroccan way of preparation is nice. Very clearly a restaurant of a hotel though. No soul, no passion, no heart. I'll skip next time.
