Recently had knee surgery. All the staff were very caring and I felt well looked after. It was my first time in theatre and although nervous I was made to feel calm and safe. The follow up and after care was also good. Not that one every wants to go to hospital, but if given a choice I'll choose St George's again. The only issue is that there is limited parking so it can be difficult for visitors.

Spent two days in hospital waiting for "important" test results, only to find they had misplaced the urine sample and test had never been done.
Pissed off. Will have to start all over at another hospital

Worse service ever. My father done a PEG placement and have to go to trauma twice afterwards with poor services from both the doctors and nurses. Try to do a transfer to Aurora Hospital and we have reminded the staff to do a CRE swab before the transfer and staff have told the family they have done "all the paperwork" and told us that we can go to Aurora Hospital. Is this how medical professional treats your patients? Regardless private or not? And we wholly put our lives in you.

The CCU cardiac unit is one of the best ever, well trained and friendly nurses and very efficient. Ward 107 also spotless and a bunch of happy nurses.

Excellent staff in the ER (Trauma) center. They were professional yet so friendly and interested in my husbands care. It was a long night so I appreciated the warm blanket and coffee.

I don't like hospitals as a rule for obvious reasons. All in all though, when you ARE in a position to have to go to one, this one has friendly and helpful (and resourceful) staff who make it as painless as possible.

It is so difficult to phone to the hospital it just rings and rings and then they say the requested number is busy. Do they not have a hunting line for other phones at reception?
