The food here is absolutely amazing. Compliments to the chef for a truly great job. We sat here almost the entire day drinking beer, cocktails and tasting various food items. Needless to say we were never disappointed (aside from the fact that they don't have Castle Lite on tap). I would definitely recommend this place for any group.

The location is fantastic - endless ocean views and wide open windows that makes you feel like you are on the beach. The food was average, and the pricing was on the high side. If the restaurant was not in such a great location, it would not be popular. There are much better alternatives in the immediate vicinity.

Beautiful view of the ocean and fantastic food. We took oysters (delicious), extraordinary sole ( cooked to perfection), succulent fries (crispy outside and soft inside) and exeptional crab curry. We definatly recommend this restaurant!

Lovely view, delicious food. R25.00 an oyster! The panna cotta was too sweet and the gelatine was not bloomed and mixed in correctly, giving it a granular texture.

It's ok. Waiters aren't very friendly and the burger patty was a frozen, store bought one. Don't think I'll go back. It's ok.

Shocking service.Manager / owner cant string a sentence together. Shaun his Zimbabwean waiter tried his best as spokesperson to help.all other restaurants in the area should poach Shaun! Will never ever visit the establishment again!

We've been going there for years, except for the last two, when we had a 'twin' gap and didn't go on holiday at all! Finally we're visiting Ballito again and had our first night out in a year and a half! We chose Gianni's and are happy that we did. Great food, excellent position, great management just the experience we know and needed!
