  Fabulous service. Inside and outside seating area. Kids play area. A spur where the food tastes as good as it smells. Open from 8am for a good, budget breakfast before a day at Ushaka beach or Ushaka marine world. Great free WiFi too.

  I ordered fillet steak. Meat was delicious. Made exactly as ordered with mushroom sauce and onion rings. Chips were not crispy but to be honest in last 3 days I never got crispy chips in Durban even in more expensive restaurant. Service was good and available all the time (maybe because only 2-3 guys were eating at that time). 👍

  I was visiting durban this past weekend. My family and I decided to go to Ushakarine world to watch the dolphin show, when that was over we decided to stop at the spur to get food as Spur is one of our favourite resturant. Upon arrival a waitress took us to our table and she left. Didn't take drink orders. After a while she came back to take our orders and left again. We got our food in a reasonable time, but the food was not to our expectations whatsoever. The onion rings were either burnt or looked like they were not fried at all. They tasted like they had been fried with old oil. The ribs were not tender and juicy instead they were hard and tasted like they old or friend in old oil. The wors and the chips were better. It was so bad that i didn't finish my food and didn't even want a takeaway bag. As for the waitress, she never came to check on us, only when she brought us food and to take the plates. I was so dissappointed in her service.

  Great food and fantastic service. Only down side is the play area for kids could be bigger. I know that the space does not allow it though so still 5 stars.

  It was a good evening out celebrating our babies 2nd birthday. It was good food pleasantly served in good time and the child minders were also doing a great job. All in all a great evening.

  the faster service i ever received. The waitress was game on. the food was just as i expected it to be. The ball was dropped by the floor manager whom looked like he rather be home than at work.

  Relaxed atmosphere. The food is ok and very reasonably priced. A nice glass of wine is about $3 US . Friendly staff.

  I love this place but think they need to up their game a little when it gets busy. I understand it gets stressful under those circumstances but the effort put in should always be 100%.
