Brilliant Hotel! Quick check in, friendly staff, beautiful sea view, great location. I've stayed at the Garden Court Marine Parade Hotel on many occasions and I have seen the improvement with the recent renovation. The rooms look great now! The only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the breakfast, there isn't much of a variety. Now that the hotel has been renovated, I hope that they work on the standard of the breakfast too. Better breakfast, and it would've been 5 stars from me.

Check in didn't go well. I was upset with the lack of Staff to check ppl in. it took fat too long to get the process going. one staff member was busy chatting up the ladies. So I had to wait for them to finish up the chit chat and then chat. it was cold and rainy. having said that the the hotel is stunning. clean and neat. room quite spacious. excellent sea facing room

Friendly and helpful staff. Neat, tidy room. We particularly liked the large shower space. Lovely breakfast with wide variety. Excellent experience!

The printer service was just not there. We struggled with our bags from the car to the elevators with no offer of assistance at all. That was just shocking. Their breakfast was also uninspired and lacked variety. Their dinner however was DELICIOUS and oh so amazing! I could have eaten forever! They also have mini fridges in the rooms which is awesome on top of the fact that their rooms are quite large and comfortable.

After my 2013 visit which was not really exciting. I must say the hotel has really improved. The service we received from Mark at reception and the butler was remarkable. Mark was really helpful, friendly and patient. I commend him and he must keep up the good work😉. I was impressed with the renovated rooms. We slept really well. Room service was great. We only encountered challenges on our last day at breakfast because it was full and the lines were long. Services from the floor waiters was not that great. But the overall experience was great. We will definitely come back 🤗

I am deeply disappointed that the pool area is closed. All that I wanted for my birthday was to laze about at the pool area and a good swim.

As if that is not enough disappointment. The housekeeping has not bothered to Vange the bedding at room 2204. Even the shower has not been cleaned. There's still the soak marks and streaks from when I showered in the morning.

This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable!

This place never disappoints ..Good location just adjacent the beach. Has good ocean view,clean rooms with good breakfast.. Value for money won't get better than this..

I have stayed at the hotel several times for my work and business travel and I am sad to say that the standard is slowly deteriorating. The service at the front desk is unpleasant and the linen and towels were old. The shower head spilled water all over the place. I understand that you have a huge facility however every patron deserves to have the courtesy and professional conduct afforded for all

They overbooked, so I was stranded with a hungry 5 year old. The worst was when they told me there's nothing they can do. After I insisted they do somethingWe were sent to another hotelThat process was not smooth tooWe only got to sleep just before 23:00.

Nice clean spacious rooms. Selection of television channels could be improved. Swimming pool on the 30th floor is awesome. Housekeeping staff was very attentive and helpful. Loved my stay there

Beautiful hotel right in on the beach front. Each room has an incredible view of the ocean. So much to see and do here.
The rooms are amazing and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely too.
Would stay here again.

Loved this hotel. They service was excellent. One of the best hotels. The pool was available at any time u would wish to go. The view of the sea was just perfect. The staff were absolutely friendly. If u needed anything u would just call them and they will be by ur room within a few minutes. The breakfast was divine

Not more than two stars.
Breakfasts are not good and the hotel offers nothing besides bed and breakfast.
Not helpful with anything.
Hairs in basin and bathroom not refreshed after room service was supposed to have been there.

Check in was slow. Person didnt even know about the current special when you book and pay online. Took me over 20 mins to check in. My room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Only up for me was breakfast. It was fantastic

Had the most awesome time at Garden Court! From the time we arrived, the reception was amazing thanks to Jill who welcomed us. The rooms were so clean and very comfortable, the view just simply spectacular!
I'd definitely stay there the next time I go back to Durban. Simply awesome!
