Beautiful experience. The only issue I have is the closing of pools at 16h00, that doesn't make sense because the kids were still enjoying themselves.

I honestly had it bad, complained about the cold water as we didn't have any hot water on the 1st Jan kindly asked that we be placed in a room with working geyser 🤫 on the 26th but rather unfortunate once again. I don't think I will be back

😭💔booked and paid R2000 for xmas holiday. From 24 check out 26th dec Have pops But we couldnt go through they had a strike.the person who gave us Safa bank details is no where to b found calls r being ignored but why is Fun VAlley so heartless.
Can anyone help us to get the money back pls. Sad and dissapointed..report this review -

I booked for a 6 sleeper, I called them and I was told the resort is open to the public, when I got there the resort is in a worst state, the place looks deserted. The chalets are functional and the swimming pool by the chalets is functional. But the place needs an overhaul revamp. I wouldn't recommend it at the state it is currently in.

Fun valley used to be the place to be during summer. I don't know what happened but aye no the pools are green and grass not cut its not the same anymore

This is a wonderful place to take the whole family to go a relax and have fun. There a swimming pools to accommodate all ages and all kind of swimmers. The fact that it's also a wedding venue adds on more to it's enjoyment because you can practically do everything in one place but the most ideal thing is that it's at a very affordable price for the whole day.

Nice venue to have a picnic with friends and family. Can get really full so be prepared. Prices are reasonable. Pools are adequate. Nice vibe and good music.

Nice Breath of fresh air quite and relaxing. Holiday destination. Weekend you don't even need to go out cause the fun is inside by the pool area. Bikini vibes, shorts and shades great pictures can be taken for your social media postings. Place to go this summer

The place is good, clean and well taken care of. Room have aircon, and TV. The staff is friendly.
However, the place is unfriendly for self-catering as follows:
1) There was no facility for tea/coffee in the rooms (meaning, there was no kettle, sugar, nor cups in the rooms). Generally, even 2 Stars Motels have these as a standard.
2) There was no tray nor at least a plate where you can dish your food to after you have warmed it in the microwave, let alone dish cloth. As a results, after warming my food, I had to go to the bathroom and get toilet paper to wipe the table.
3) There was no dustbin the in room. The smallest one (abour 2L capacity) was placed in the toilet/bathroom.
4) The bathroom/handwash has got no mirror next to it. The mirror is located in the room - requiring you to take a walk from the bathroom.
5) There was no mop nor mat next to the shower - as a results, you have to walk all over the room with wet feet - luckily I have my flip flops.
6) Outside by the swimming pool where we booked (next to the braai area), men's bathroom were locked and so we could not access them. Ladies' bathrooms were accessible.
While the place is cool and everything is modern, some improvements need to be made.report this review -
