Very nice and peaceful. Room had everything I needed. Friendly staff even did some laundry for free. Very good value for money, hence the high rating.

My experiences with the French Lodge International Hotel ended at the gate though, but nethertheless I can highly recommend a stay there. Natasha (the lovely owner) helped me out in a very risky situation without a consideration. She didn`t care if I was a paying guest or not, just showed me a genuine smile and true commitment as I stranded in George for a few hours. That`s the vibe and the passion a true backpacker needs and I will never forget that. During a stay at the French Lodge International Hotel you can expect hosts who will work with complete dedication for their guests. I will keep this encounter in very good memory. This was a enjoyable, friendly and very hospitable experience, despite this being our 1st time and last minute booking. Natasha and Fortune are always smiling and have no hesitation to helping with "extra" requests.
The rooms were clean, everything worked and was set up for winter (cold) conditions. The breakfast was scrumptious and more than filling and worth enjoying.

This place is terrible i recieved such bad service on arrival from management ! It is a complete waste of money there so much better places with better service out there ! They really need to wake up I've never been treated more like a dog than ever and by the owner !!
