Ok room and clean, but too expensive for what get. Hotel is old and looks its age. No own restaurant, no room service. Worst is the extreme noise from night clubs situated right next to hotel - stays open until well after 3am, so forget about sleep. Do not stay here if need to work the next day!

If you want a cheap and cheerful hotel in the middle of some great nightlife then this is for you..if you want a quiet hotel then look else where. I stayed here with some friends before we ran Comrades marathon and it was perfect..the bars and restaurants that surround it are very nice - and we were ok with a bit of noise from those bars etc when we wanted to sleep. It is walkable (20 minutes) to the beach and only a quick taxi ride to the city centre. I will be staying here again next time in Durban.

Rooms were ok. Clean. But the reception staff were not helpful and looked like it was their first day on the job. I asked a question and he walked off. Didn't give me a response

This is a normal hotel. I have stayed in a room with queen size bed. Room equipped with wardrobe, small TV (few free channels), small safe and coffee/tea. No mini bar, wifi is available but very poor signal strength. Bathroom does not have tub but very neat. All are Non-smoking rooms. There are restaurants and pubs nearby, ATM in-front of Hotel and few shops at walking distance. Locality is nice. People staying around are quiet rich so shops are bit expensive as well.
