Great atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff, easy to find. Nice breakfast. Back deck has beautiful views of the Sundays River and the dunes. Quiet and lots of birds.

We were there on June, we were the only guests. Bathroom and wifi are well. However, the room was cold, the forniture very old and the bed was uncomfortable with really old blankets (more than 40 years). Breakfast quality was low. Of course you can sleep there but 1100R is too expensive for a clearly overclassed hotel. It cannot be considered a 4 stars.

The Lodge is situated right on the bank of the Sundays River. The serve an excellent breakfast on the deck where you have an magnificent view of the river. Etta and Dereck are excellent hosts and can arrange excursions to the nearby Addo Elephant Park, River cruises, sandboarding and many more.
