We go to the Veranda often. Thabisa always makes our visit a top notch one! View and setting amazing. The buffet is nice but could use a bit of a change upbeen the same for years

The beach front hotel in PE with personal service, delicious food and comfortable rooms. The function rooms are well situated with all your modern conveniences for professional corporate events, weddings and presentations.

Situated right next door to the Broadwalk complex in Port Elizabeth, it is ideal for coach groups and couples to stay as no only is the casino on your doorstep, they have an array of nice restaurants within the Boardwalk complex.
Now the Hotel is one of the older hotels but it is a comfortable place with nice rooms and a dinner and breakfast area. Their is a lovely lounge with a well stocked bar and very friendly staff.
Being a tour guide, i travel extensively through this areas with my groups and i avaulate establishments not only myself but also get a feel of what my clients thought.
Up to now I have only had positive feedback, so Beach Hotel Teamkeep it up!!! See you again in January 2019.response / report this review -

Nice view, nice food, friendly waiters and waitresses. Cool, indoor dining space, while still enjoying the sea breeze. Also available alfresco area and bar with the view of the ocean.

Fantastic views. Ginger Restaurant service professional, well trained staff! Food delectable, well presented, beeg portions!!!!Reasonably priced. Crisp clean Napkins and Cutlery. Very beautiful and up to date Crockery!

Lovely, clean and fresh cuisines. The Cajun calamari was sensational and the chocolate ganache reminded me of a fond favorite bakery in CT. Great service, amazing views. Fine Dining

The Beach is an old hotel. The rooms are large. Nice restaurants. It's located in the heart of PE beach. The pier is right in front of it.

Lovely location. Lovely sea view room,comfortable bed had a good night's sleep.Had a lovely meal in the carvery. Value for money. Would come again .

Lovely hotel close to the beachfront and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Fast check in. Homely feel . The breakfast was good. Maybe a slightly bigger selection would have being nice. But was enough. Good walking areas just outside the hotel. Next to a casino mall area. Enjoy my stay.

2 weeks ago hubby and i had a very bad experience at beach hotel.being our favourite hangout place we were sadly disappointed and left without any apology and the service was extremely bad.we sat for more than 45 minutes without being helped..BUT YESTERDAY WAS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE..DIFFERENT WAITERS DIFFERENT MANAGER ON DUTY AND THE FOOD WAS AWESOME..SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE..so it varies depending on who is on duty.but it still remains my favourite place..THE FISH PLATTER WAS AWESOMEA BIG THANK YOU TO THE LOVELY LADY who took care of us..

Old English style beachfront hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and the terrace is great for sitting out and taking coffee overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Such a wonderful place to spend the weekend. We loved staying here instead of the Boardwalk. It's close enough to be right things are happening, but you can retreat to the tranquility of your own personal space.

Great for a one night stop at the beginning or the end of the Garden Route. Eat in Ginger the restaurant for a fabulous meal. Staff are very friendly and prices reasonable.
