The place was absolutely awful. We waited two and a half hours for our food and didn't get much of an explanation as to why. We only got a quick "I'm sorry" from management. Still had to pay the full price and the food was sub par. Will never be going back.

A brilliant old school pub. A real haven after a 2hr motorbike stint from jhb. The pizzas are excellent, the service is great and the prices are very good. Centrally situated in dullstroom, it shouldn't be missed on any trip to mpumalanga!

Friendly service
Reasonable prices
Unfortunately food did not live up to expectations
Duck liver late.. runny, not smooth and tasteless
Aged sirloin . tough, tasteless
Duck and cherry pie, watery, duck stringy and over cooked, pastry frozen and not properly cooked through essentially duck slop in a bowl with a pastry top, a huge disappointment
Will never return.

Nice place to have a couple of drinks and eat some food.

Pros:
Only place open in this town after 19:00.
Good pizza at reasonable prices.
Live music (sometimes)

Not the cleanest most cosy spot. First impression was not very good but the food made up for it. Duck and cherry pie and baked trout was delicious!

TERRIBLE!
They cater for smelly smokers. Outside deck fir smokers and little shade. Inside area for nin smokers is horrible, looks like a cheap tavern. Bar area with a little more ambiance, only caters for smelly smokers. Jikes!

Outside is allocated for smokers.
Inside has a nice portion and a second part with no ambiance at all.
Guess which part is allocated for the non-smokers?
So more than 75% of the place is meant for smokers.
