  Excellent food and service, but the tranquility of the scenery cannot be compared to anything in the world. This is Africa at its best! Grazing wild life, sounds of the fish eagle. Bliss

  Excellent restaurant experience, right on the banks of the Crocodile river with a view over the Kruger National Park. My default order is the lamb shanks - perfectly cooked and served with a smile. Carol - our favourite waitress, greets us with a hug! Watch the elephants and waterbuck roam the riverbed while you enjoy your meal.

  Me and my family had dinner tonight at the Deck restaurant. What a pleasure The food was excellent and the service great! The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants value for money in a friendly and beautiful environment.

  If you're looking for small patio with a nice view directly off the N4, that's about all you'll find.
  
  The waiters were friendly, but of zero help. We ordered 2 simple items for lunch. The prawns with rice/ veggies and a burger (with no mayo) and side salad. A simple enough order, but sadly we received a chicken sandwich (with mayo) and the prawns. 
  
  When we asked if the kitchen was out of burgers, the waiter said she changed the order to a chicken sandwich because the burger meat is mixed with mayo.
  
  We said fair enough to her decision, but sadly the chicken sandwich had mayo on it! 
  
  So another 25 minutes later (50 minutes since we were seated) they brought the burger (without mayo), but all the while left the prawns on the table the entire time to get cold by then, the overcooked prawns were to cold to enjoy.
  
  We ending up eating a few bites of our food, paying the bill and leaving completely unsatisfied. It's a shame, because it seems like the restaurant could be so much better.
  
  Do youself favor and skip this place. 2 stars for the view.

  The kudu filet was chewy and hard to eat. No small spoon for baked potato, no atmosphere and not good service by the staff. Not satisfied, could have been a lot better. Prices are good.
