Takes a while to get there through an alternative route. Pretty little village with mainly restaurants, some antiquities and jewelry and two museums so that you can get the idea if what it was like in the beginning.

Amazing tour of the mines 763 meters below . Really interesting how they operate and how the miners work. Hope to go again sometime.

Our tour guide was brilliant in his facts and story telling about the area and in and outs of the mine. Got much more than I expected, very interesting

Although we did not go for the actual tour, the town was nice, although the current "alternative" route is on dirt and requires some careful driving.

The only diamond mine in the world where tourists are allowed on the mine while the mine is still productive.

A self guided tour by professional guides. One gets to learn about different types of diamonds and going underground with mine workers makes it a very exciting experiences
