They sold the car I applied for. I drove all the way from Pta to look at the vehicle. I told the sales agent, Thabang that I'll take it, who then gave me a quote, on paper and electronically. He told me it was valid for 48hours. I drove direct to Nedbank for the finance application and started phoning for insurance. When I called 3 hours later to confirm something on the quote, I get told by the way that the car has been sold. At no point did the sales agent tell me there is a pending offer. The manager just said first come first serve. What horrible business ethics.
