Amazing place, by the ongoing upgrades you can see the effort and love going into this lodge to make it awesome. The Snake handling course was an unbelievable experience

Great setting. Newly refurbished restaurant looks good. Sadly, the service was completely lacking with the waiters needing intensive training to ensure orders are correctly put through to the kitchen, and serve the tables quickly and efficiently.

Awesome MTB experience. I highly recommend the trails which have wildlife such as Wildebeest, Zebra and Springbok. With 3 courses that add up to 50km, there is choice for the whole family.

Do not go to this place to kayak, row, paddle etc. You may NOT park near the water with your boat. You are told the management is VERY strict and will be told to go if you do. It is a far carry with the boat. There is nowhere to keep your belongings safe. Your car is way up at the top of a hill to run back and forth with kit etc.
Took the kids there the next day and was not allowed to get close to the water again with my 3 year old daughter.
To cut a long story short I landed up carrying my kids around because it is too far for them to walk!!!
This is not child friendly then either.
Just two bad experiences. And.was ignored by management.

Nice place, kinda crowded when I went but still awesome and I would recommend it. There is a convenience store here and a place to buy souvenirs and stuff as well as some good restaurants. There are also night safaris that leave from here. They have a decent swimming pool too. Each cottage has a grill and secure refrigerator to keep your food safe from the monkeys, watch out though because the monkeys can get aggressive and straight up rob you of your hard earned food if they feel like it. But hey at least I have a story to tell right. Anyways nice place and I'd go here again. Oh and one last thing the electric fences are turned on so don't touch them, yeah don't ask:)

Friendly staff and good food. Facilities need a serious revamp but they are busy with that. Looking forward to see how it shapes up.

One of my favourite place to go for a hike. Love the wild animals and the bar on the dam wall. Food is nice too.

Very nice lodge with great mountain bike trails. I go there every two weeks and enjoy the rides, which are quite technical on the yellow and red route. Animals everywhere. Recommend for sure!

A true gem that is close to the city. Zebras abound, always with new babies by their sides. There were even twin baby zebras the last time we were there. There are even giraffes that sometimes come close to where the cottages are. A great place for long walks with the family. The only downside is the food - the restaurant's offerings don't match the natural setting as the food is greasy and of low quality. It would be better if they offered more natural and wholesome options. Best to bring your own snacks and then head elsewhere for lunch or dinner.

Wonderful place a few mintes away from the city where you can rest have a good time close to nature while sharinf space with the Zebras and Giraffe on the premises

Nice to have zebras and other wildlife wandering around the pool area but food was disappointing and service wasn't good.

When you need to get away but can't wander too farthis is the place to go for a day out with the family. Have lunch at the restaurant where you can see zebra and giraffe wander passedswim in the pool or spend time around the dam.

We had a great day out. Food was good. A lot of new investment going into renovations and improvements. Well work visiting again. Service was also good.
